Based out of Seattle, WA, The Archtops cover swing from the 40's, jump blues from the 50's and a smattering of soulful Motown classics from the 60's. Band leader - Mike Faast, has assembled a group of top northwest jazz musicians to deliver a dynamic show that includes soulful vocals, tight rhythms and dynamic leads. Their shows will put a smile on your face and are guaranteed to move your feet. Whether playing classic swing, a blues shuffle, Latin grooves, country swing, a waltz, or a funky R&B tune, they play them all with style, grace and attention to detail. Named after the "Archtop" jazz guitar, The Archtops embody the lyric, "it don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing". The Archtops are equally at home playing traditional jazz and swing with a small combo for a party, cocktail hour or wine bar or shifting gears to provide a dynamic five or six piece swing band for a town fair, wedding or corporate event. The Archtops feature band leader, Mike Faast on guitar/vocals, Frank Grace, guitar/vocals, Mark Drake, drums/vocals, Michael Eytcheson, bass/vocals, and Eric Likkel on sax and clarinet. Whether you're looking for a concert band, background music, or the ultimate swing dance band, please consider The Archtops!
