Welcome to….

Country/Jazz Singer, Mike Faast has teamed up with Blues/Jazz Guitarist, Frank Grace and Jazz Bassist, Dennis Staskowski, to form a swingin’ little trio called “the Archtops rhythm and jazz Band.” Mike fronts the band, sings most of the lead vocals and plays rhythm guitar, New York native, Frank Grace has come out of retirement after leading his own band for many years in the New York area, to play lead guitar and vocals, from the North West (by way of Detroit,)  Dennis Staskowski lays down the tasty jazz bass lines.Their repertoire is built around Jazz Standards, Blues, Jazzy instrumentals, Country/Swing, a smattering of iconic oldies and even some originals.

Options: The band can be expanded to fit the need, we can add fiddle to take on the sound of Jazzy/Country String Quartet, or they can add Drums and Piano/Organ for a more dance band vibe. Whether it’s a quaint little wine bar, town fair, festival, corporate event or a wedding, Mike Faast and the Fabulous Archtops are ready to rock the house.

The duo: Mike and Frank had an instant bond when they discovered their mutual love for Jazz, and vintage Archtop guitars. Mike plays a 57 Gibson ES 125 and Frank plays a 1956 Guild. Mike comes from a Country background and Frank from the Blues style. The blending of styles has produced a bluesy, jazz, country style that has a broad appeal among Jazz, blues, country and roots music fans.
